Minecraftia: Prologue: Enders Calling

Darkness surrounded me, filling my thoughts, engaging my senses, and stealing my breaths. Bright, gleaming eyes watched me from the shadows of the stone that was around me. I could not see very far, for they prevented that. No, I wasn’t going to see, or move, anytime soon. I blinked, forcing a blurry vision upon my thoughts, but I still could not see. I could feel the hatred glares piercing on me, but I could not lift my head, for it was no longer mine. Nothing that had once belonged to me, were mine. They belonged to the eyes now. I heard an earsplitting sound, what sounded faintly like a purr if the cat were not possessed by a demon. I heard the heavy sound of footsteps, and when the sound reached my ears, my vision returned. I gasped as the darkness subsided, but only enough for the eyes to have a face. The breath was ripped from my lounges as I gazed upon the horrifying creature.
It was very slender, towering about four feet above me. Long, thin arms stretched past it’s waist, inches from the ground. It’s body was quite short, but it’s legs contained most of it’s height. It’s dark purple, menacing eyes stared right past my skin, and into my soul. I froze, unable to move once more, but not from the darkness, but from the paralyzing glare of something not of this world. When it looked into my eyes, it opened it’s mouth slightly, but the longer I looked, for I was unable to look away, it’s mouth got wider. Just when I thought that it was done growing, an indefinite crack sounded and it’s mouth unhinged. A horrible sound followed it as It’s mouth continued to open. Soon it covered most of his face and when it stopped moving, I would have prayed if I had the right mind to do so. A horrific scream-like sound hit me like a freight train. it sounded like a mourning family, the pleas of an animal dieing, and the sound of an incoming airplane into one.
When it lunged, I didn’t even have time to scream.
